Medical Spanish Crash Course, Great Success!!

On Tuesday, February 26th, 2019, CCLS Houston, in conjunction with the University of Houston’s Alpha Epsilon Delta, provided a Crash Course in Medical Spanish to more than 20 students! The course was presented by Rafael Lozano, Philologist and CCLS Certified instructor, and Cinthya Trueba, President and CEO. We were thrilled to be given the opportunity to share the CCLS methodology with the bright students of U of H. We look forward to continuing this course at the University of Houston in the future!"

This program is designed to help medical professionals improve their communication with patients in the Spanish-speaking community. This program is geared toward medical professionals with no prior or basic Spanish language experience.

Medical Spanish is an elective program focused on medical vocabulary, linguistics and culture necessary for caregivers to provide more effective and compassionate care.
